I could run a similar test like that in the weekend. My pc has 16 Gb RAM so should be able to hold up to enough clients.

Well after several play time I can say that on rpgxEF 2.2 b8.4.4 the map runs well with 7 people. The only problem I noted being that after three hours of playtime without reloading the map I, the host, became invisible to every players. You're not that far off. The .usables just generates a table (as the .turbolift would do) and the .locations at this time is just feeding a spawnscript for the target_locations taht mostly helps keep the map a little cleaner. I already informed the guys over at TLO about this issue.

Perhaps it would be beneficial to get you into contact with GSIO about the problem and see if you can trace down why exactly Asteria isn't working on 2.3.
